Plague Roots

Plague Roots is a steampunk-themed game set in Victorian times. The player takes on the role of a novice plague doctor tasked with retrieving a mysterious orb from the basement of a mysterious house.

The player is equipped with a gun and three syringes that can improve their health, and fire rate, or give them more power, but each use of the syringe decreases their sanity. If the player loses all their sanity, they become a zombie and join the other sanity-lost doctors who have failed the mission before them.

After death, the player restarts the game as a new doctor.

The game is in the early prototype stage with two playable levels and no ending.

Controls:

Walk - WASD

Fire - Left Mouse Button

Aim - Right Mouse Button

1 - Slowmotion syringe

2 - Autofire syringe

3 - Health syringe

Esc - Quit
